How To Find Prospects?

Are you having trouble finding people to enroll?

One of the things in Network Marketing that sometimes seems daunting, is prospecting. We think we have just a few core people in our sphere of influence and forget that we actually know more people than we think. Network Marketing is all about building relationships with people, so it is important to figure out what relationships you have, even the ones you have forgotten about. In the Ultimate Memory Jogger by Eric Worre, he states four steps to helping jog your memory into remembering everyone you have ever known. These are:

Step one: Make an extremely comprehensive list of everyone you know.
This goes beyond just your immediate family. It is the gas station attendant you met yesterday or the person at church you met 2 weeks ago or all the guys or gals that were on your football or volleyball team in high school.
Step two: The Second degree of Separation.”
Everyone you have listed on your very comprehensive list you listed from step one, know people. So with this step you list out all the people that each person on your project list knows. This broadens your list even more.
Step three: Constantly expand your list.
Every time you meet someone new put them on the list. Always be working on remember who you know.
“Step four: Network on Purpose.
If you do not go to the gym, then join a gym, find a new doctor, volunteer at a new organization, etc…The point is that you are intentionally looking for ways to build your prospect list.

After you have begun making these lists, start building or rebuilding relationships with these people. You may not sign them all up, but it has given you opportunity to get used to talking to people and hopefully you will have gain some new relationships and even built stronger relationships with those you already know.
